As summer approaches and travel restrictions are about to end, we are all looking forward to leaving the workplace for some well-deserved rest and adventures. When packing your suitcase, why not match your watch to your luggage to feel super stylish on your travels. Here are some ideas to inspire you.
The beauty of Montblanc is that the brand offers multiple product categories, so matching your watch to your writing instruments, sunglasses or luggage is a breeze. And not only do they make different categories of luxury goods, but they’re often designed as a cross-sectional collection, so they naturally go together. Check out this new Meisterstuck weekend bag that we paired with the Montblanc1858 Iced Sea Automatic Date. We find them particularly dashing together, don’t you?
Bulgari is another company with multiple product categories. Most people know their watches, jewelry, and perfumes, but did you know that they also make the most exquisite handbags. Here is an elegant Casablanca X Bulgari Après Tennis Coffret toiletry bag to match one of the latest Serpenti Secret timepieces from the Italian house. It’s the perfect Dolce Vita combination.
One of Schwarz Etienne’s concepts is to remove the packaging from the watch. The company realized that many of its customers weren’t even interested in the box their watch came in, so they decided to change tack and make handbags, travel pouches and handbags to go with their watches instead. It’s a very smart and sustainable idea for today’s discerning customers.

For Gucci, there are a multitude of bags and watches for men and women. We have chosen this mint colored Gucci Nojum Bamboo 1947 handbag to accompany the Gucci Grip Sapphire jumping hour timepiece. The Grip Sapphire is part of Gucci’s new Haute Horlogerie collection which shows how the Italian brand is diversifying into the world of high-end watchmaking. We’ll be covering this brand more over the summer, so stay tuned.
The association watch and bag is a dream at Hermès because leather is at the heart of their universe. For the discerning male traveler, we have chosen the elegant weekend bag, the Sac Hermès Open, in Evergrain and Tofo calfskin with an adjustable shoulder strap. And for the watch, how about a matching blue 40 mm Arceau with a blue lacquered dial and a black Barénia calfskin strap which is chic in itself?
For Louis Vuitton, we thought we’d come up with something a little different from the iconic brown Monogram collections. So how about this Louis Vuitton Horizon 55 trolley bag from the Spring Summer 2022 Collection with its fine blue and green Taurillon Monogram leather? We paired it with the Tambor Damier Graphite Race Chronograph that will get you noticed in all the right ways!

A few years ago, Jaeger-LeCoultre struck up a fun collaboration with luxury leather goods maker Valextra. Together, they came up with the idea of using the Rendez-Vous watch as a wristlet for the clutch. It was an ingenious idea. Unfortunately, it was never marketed, but all the ladies in the WorldTempus office want to start a petition to have them made. What do you think? Are you with us?
