For Loop Lapeta promotions, Taapsee Pannu’s mint green blazer dress makes it this season’s hottest fashion trend

We saw trouser suits galore with their fitted pants and stiff jackets. We’ve also seen mini dresses with their form-fitting short shapes. There is now a convergence of them that brings the best of both worlds to the fashion world and it’s called the blazer dress. We’ve certainly spotted them before in the Bollywood celebrity sphere, but they’ve seen a resurgence lately. Taapsee Pannu started promoting his movie Lapeta Buckle and if its first look is to be believed, it will be a stylish promotional tour. Taapse was seen wearing a short mint-colored blazer dress. It has front pockets and long sleeves, but the highlight was the belly cutouts which took it to the next level. It was teamed with black heels and sunglasses, keeping all eyes on the dress. Taapsee wore her curls pinned up for maximum effect.

Lately, it’s Deepika Padukone who has drawn our attention to blazer dresses. Her Gehraiyaan promotional run has brought us some of the best recently. There was a time when she chose an oversized black and white print blazer with its sleeves rolled up. Deepika’s slicked back hair and black thigh high boots added to the drama.

Deepika looked chic in black tie when she also wore a black tuxedo-style blazer dress with a pair of black Gucci heels. With a sleek bun in her hair and a red lip, this one was ready to hit the town.

Malaika Arora pulled off the blazer dress for a night out on the town. Her gray plaid dress featured a plunging neckline and she accented it with black boots and a handbag.
