And that’s exactly what Kacey Musgraves did when she was spotted in her pajamas walking around New York City on Tuesday.
The 31-year-old country star paired her bold, unapologetic look with a modest amount of makeup for the low-key outing.

Kacey was stunned by a pair of red patterned silk pajamas for $ 275 from J.Crew, which featured a button-down shirt and matching baggy pants.
She added a leopard overcoat over her look for extra warmth.

Kacey’s long brown hair was styled into natural eaves and she wore a lot less makeup than usual.
The six-time Grammy winner opted for a lightweight foundation with a subtle cat’s eye and nude lip.
And this isn’t the first time she’s been seen wearing pajamas, wearing a Savage X Fenty pair at Rihanna’s show in September.

Kacey went for another comfy look on Monday while attending Moschino’s 2020 runway show at the New York Transit Museum.
The Merry Go ‘Round singer wore a matching orange trench coat and handbag.
She was joined by Moschino Creative Director Jeremy Scott, 44, Storm Reid, 16, and Madeleine Petsch, 25.
The past few months have been very busy for Kacey, including filming her Christmas special, The Kacey Musgraves Christmas Special, for Amazon Prime Video.

Filming took place in midsummer in California in 90 degree heat.
“It was like 90 degrees in LA in that airplane hangar we filmed in, there was no air conditioning,” Kacey told The Associated Press at the time.
“So I was wearing Christmas clothes, standing for 16 hours a day, like I was just trying to make Christmas a reality. And I think we did.
“It’s been Christmas for a whole year for me. So I can’t tell if I’m fed up or if I’m really excited. I think I’m really excited.
