Such a rocket! Gabby Logan quickly wins the Euro fashion… with the help of Stella McCartney and Victoria Beckham
The Lionesses of England have received praise for their stylish football at Euro 2022, but it’s BBC tournament presenter Gabby Logan’s designer wardrobe that scores points with fashion-conscious viewers .
Her penchant for flared pants while facing the cover sparked a torrent of comments on social media, with a striking yellow pair proving a particular hit out of the six she’s modeled so far.
The Mail on Sunday can reveal that the 49-year-old broadcaster’s fashion favorites include clothes from high-end designers Stella McCartney and Victoria Beckham, but also items from high street chain Reiss.
The star, one of the BBC’s most popular sports presenters, researched additions to her tournament wardrobe with her stylist shortly before the opening game and paid for them all out of her own pocket.

Gabby Logan also recycled previous outfits from her wardrobe for this year’s Women’s Euros
The comment-provoking yellow flares, which she wore with a matching jacket for England’s 8-0 win over Norway, are from Ms McCartney and cost £1,800 from London department store Harvey Nichols.
The outfit, says Gabby, is an “investment purchase” that she can also use for future broadcasting jobs. So it will be a relief that it proved so popular with viewers. One posted on social media: “That was one hell of a pair of pants you were wearing.”

Another fan joked that the flares could have been worn by a Eurovision winning band in 1976. “Gabby Logan’s pants are so flared she wouldn’t look out of place in Brotherhood of Man “, they wrote.
Gabby also wore two pairs of £195 plaid flares from London label ME+EM and two from Sandro, priced at £240, in purple and pink.
She wore the pinks for England’s 5-0 win over Northern Ireland on Friday, paired with a different yellow blazer – a £399 number from Maje – a sleeveless blouse from Jigsaw and a pair of heels Russell & Bromley. For Norway’s clash with Northern Ireland earlier this month, she opted for a £450 sweater from Ms Beckham.
But last Tuesday, Gabby decided to forgo her recent purchases. Because it was too hot for pants, she relied on an old favorite, a Grecian-style dress she bought from Reiss years ago.
Her stylist Charlotte Handley Green said Gabby decided at the last minute to rummage through her wardrobe to find something cooler that she could recycle.
“We had a Facetime call because Gabby couldn’t have worn what we had planned,” she told the Mail on Sunday. “She found the beautiful dress which is quite a few years old. She tried it on but it was a bit low-cut so we put a camisole underneath.’
Ms Handley Green said she decided to pair it with a belt that Gabby wore on the Sports Personality of the Year show by Roksana, one of Kate Middleton’s favorite designers.
The presenter also regularly wears Gucci block heels she bought two years ago, as well as old Gianvito Rossi favourites.
The clothing choices of Gabby’s fellow presenters also appealed, with former England player Fara Williams drawing plenty of admiring comments for her colorful trouser suits.
