She made a dress inspired by the film Encanto, with bright watercolor flowers. Another Disney project was inspired by Princess Jasmine, using iridescent blue-green fabric cut into a one-sleeved dress.
She made most of the stuff from scratch, but also customizes pre-purchased items, turning an adult turtleneck sweater into a child’s dress with a bow on the hip.
A particularly impressive hot pink dress features rhinestone-embellished straps and a belt, with a contrasting panel on the back and incredible leaf detailing in the threading.
“I love that depending on what you’re wearing, it can make you feel confident and brave,” she said.
