Conor McGregor has offered Jared Leto the opportunity to join him in fight camp after the House of Gucci star said he’d like to play the Dublin fighter in a biopic.
The 50-year-old, who is a huge McGregor fan and has been to many of his fights, told Extra TV: “If we were doing the UFC movie, if I was younger, I’d be playing Conor McGregor. I have a beard.
“What Conor is doing and what these guys and girls are doing is just amazing.
“I’m probably too old to do Conor, but you never know. Maybe we could use CGI.

McGregor later tweeted, “Jared Leto, I invite you to come practice the role with me!” next to a link to an article about the actor’s comments.
Leto, who appeared on “Fight Club” in 1999, also suggested he would be interested in playing UFC President Dana White.
The Irish UFC star is currently in the final stages of his recovery after the horrific broken leg he suffered in his trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier last July.
Former two-division champion McGregor revealed last month that he hoped to return to the cage this summer, although White said he expected the Dubliner not to return to action until the fall.
White and the UFC are waiting for doctors to give McGregor the go-ahead to return to full training.
He said: “If his leg heals well and he gets clearance to really start training, then maybe early fall.”
White, who plans to meet with McGregor in the coming weeks to discuss his recovery and a date for his return, was recently asked about McGregor’s appeal to welterweight champion Kamaru Usman.
White told The MacLife, “Yeah, that’s interesting, I hadn’t heard that.
“He’s coming to Vegas, we’re getting together and we’re going to talk. We will see next.
“Any fight against Conor is good money-wise.”
McGregor said he hopes to fight UFC welterweight titleholder Usman in his comeback fight.
“I believe against Usman for the 170-pound title for my comeback, that’s the one I’m looking at right now,” he told his own YouTube channel.
“Now I haven’t really told anyone to be honest I’ve only been thinking for a few days because what’s the point of cutting the weight? I’ve already won the 155lb title I’ve reduced myself to a light frame , but I’m big now.
“I feel big, I feel strong, I feel healthy, I have good energy. I’m coming back from a horrible injury. I don’t want to wear myself out, there shouldn’t be any need for me. exhaust.
“And I feel confident against Usman. A happy, sloppy, unsubmissive orthodox wrestler. What is he going to do ? Where is the danger here? I don’t see any danger with him. His ground and pound is not strong, plus he is older.
“And then the more the world is to resume. The Triple Crown. No one has ever gotten three knockouts in three weight divisions moving up like I once did, but no one has ever gotten three UFC world titles in three divisions like I will too if we do this fight.
McGregor, who hasn’t held a UFC title since 2018, also dismissed criticism that he shouldn’t receive a title on his return.
“Enough is enough with the disrespect that’s been happening to me,” McGregor said. “People are going to give me my respect for the many facets of my game.
“My fighting style and everything. I’m going to go straight back in for a title shot, make no mistake about it. Either that or I won’t, you know what I mean? It must be a title shot. What else could it be?
“Now that I say that, let’s see how things pan out. There are plenty of fights. I’m a fighter at the end of the day. I’ll say that, but I’ll probably do anything because I just want to fight and compete.
“But I want this gold belt. I’m going to get this world title with the Irish tricolor on it. I’m the reason the tricolor is on this UFC world title. So I can’t wait to get my hands on this belt.
Usman responded to McGregor’s comments on social media. “You want a murder scene in the octagon,” he wrote.
